6. COOKIES AND TRACKING SERVICES

We use cookies, which are small text elements used to store information in web browsers. Cookies are recognized the next time you visit our website and contribute significantly to speeding up loading processes and making the use of our offers comfortable for you. The information recognized and stored by cookies is used to recognize you, but also to analyze your user behavior. They are stored on the server of the respective provider, which has committed itself to us as an order processor to comply with the applicable data protection standards.

After you have visited our website, cookies remain stored on your terminal device, unless you refuse this from the outset or you actively delete cookies. Actively deactivating cookies may impair the functionality of our web presence for you. You can also prevent cookies from being stored by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website.

You can also prevent the forwarding of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available on the website google.com. However, the plug-in is only available for certain browser programs.

We also use third-party content on our website to make our Internet presence as informative and convenient as possible for you. This includes, for example, Google maps, RSS feeds or YouTube. These third-party providers receive your IP address for technical reasons. We have no influence on the use of this data by the third-party provider. In this regard, we refer to the privacy statements of the respective providers.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request. This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. A combination of this data with other data sources is not made. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. 1600, Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your user behavior is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Your IP address will be shortened beforehand within the European Union and thus anonymized or at least pseudonymized. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet use to the website operator. This website uses the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. In this context, please also note Google's privacy policy, in particular the information available under the following two links: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de . Alternatively, you can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the collection of your data during future visits to this website: Google Analytics Disable.

Google Tag Manager

We use "Google Tag Manager" on our website, a service provided by Google Inc. Google Tag Manager allows us to manage website tags via an interface. The Google Tag Manager tool that implements the tags is a cookie-less domain and does not collect any personal data itself. Google Tag Manager takes care of triggering other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at the domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. Google has submitted to the Privacy Shield agreement concluded between the European Union and the USA and has certified itself. This means that Google undertakes to comply with the standards and regulations of European data protection law. You can find more information in the entry linked below: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active . Further information on data protection can be found on the following Google web pages: Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de , FAQ Google Tag Manager: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/faq.html , Terms of Use Google Tag Manager: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html .

Google Re/Marketing Services / Google AdWords / Google AdSense

We use the marketing and remarketing services (in short "Google Marketing Services") of Google Inc. The Google Marketing Services allow us to display advertisements for and on our website in a more targeted manner in order to present users only with ads that potentially match their interests. If, for example, a user is shown ads for products he or she was interested in on other websites, this is referred to as "remarketing". For these purposes, when our website and other websites on which Google marketing services are active are called up, a code is executed directly by Google and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also known as "web beacons") are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on the user's device (similar technologies can be used instead of cookies). The cookies can be set by various domains, including google.com, doubleclick.net, invitemedia.com, admeld.com, googlesyndication.com or googleadservices.com. This file records which websites the user has visited, which content he is interested in and which offers he has clicked on, as well as technical information on the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information on the use of the online offer. The IP address of the user is also recorded, whereby we inform Google Analytics that the IP address is shortened within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and only in exceptional cases is transferred in full to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address will not be merged with data of the user within other offers of Google. The aforementioned information may also be linked on the part of Google with such information from other sources. If the user subsequently visits other websites, he can be shown ads tailored to his interests.

The user's data is processed pseudonymously as part of Google's marketing services, i.e. Google does not store and process the user's name or e-mail address, for example, but processes the relevant data on a cookie basis within pseudonymous user profiles. I.e. from Google's perspective, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the cookie holder, regardless of who this cookie holder is. This does not apply if a user has expressly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected by Google marketing services about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the USA. The Google marketing services we use include, among others, the online advertising program "Google AdWords". In the case of Google AdWords, each AdWords customer receives a different "conversion cookie". Cookies can therefore not be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. The AdWords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. For more information about Google's use of data for marketing purposes, please visit the overview page: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de , Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de . If you wish to object to interest-based advertising by Google marketing services, you can use the settings and opt-out options provided by Google: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated?hl=de .

However, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCaptcha will not be merged with any other data held by Google. The deviating data protection regulations of the Google company apply to this data. For more information on Google's privacy policy, please visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de .

This is necessary so that your browser can also display a visually improved representation of our texts.
