The Feldkirch Festival has evolved into an impressive cultural spectacle. In fall 2007, Philippe Arlaud became its art director and has been trying to push contemporary art at the festival.
The Feldkirch Festival was established in 2001 by a joint effort of the city of Feldkirch and Thomas Hegelbrock. The festival is well known for being open to contemporary compositions and, at the same time, acknowledging its ties to the riches of past work by combining various musical epochs and genres.
Enjoy this festival, transgressing various genres from vocal ensembles, chamber music and choirs to dance performances and percussion.
